My Boyfriend Does Not Have Enough Drive And Ambition

Finding the right partner is not easy and when you find it, the last thing you want is anything to ruin it. But sometimes there are things you wish your partner would change. Most women love a strong man. It is the way we are naturally. A hard-working man with ambition and determination to most women is a dream come true. If your partner treats you well and is working an average job and you want him to try and climb the ladder of success, it is good for you to encourage him and not belittle and put him down. It is always a positive thing to try and do better in life. But I want you to ask yourself the following questions:

i. Do you want to be with a man who has a great job and financial success that you don’t connect with as well as you do with your boyfriend?

ii. Apart from his lack of ambition are you happy with him?

iii. Are you prepared to leave him with no guarantees you will meet someone better? and

iv. What if you meet another man with drive and ambition that has other problems?

One thing that any woman must always consider and know is that no man is perfect. It may be the case you find a man with great financial success who is always busy and does not have time for you or a man that is financially successful and extremely arrogant and treats you badly or a loving man that is financially unstable. It is important that you decide as an individual what are the things that are most important to you in life? It is also true that many men have changed their lives around over a period of time. Are you willing to be patient? These questions can only be answered by you. It is impossible to give general advice to you in this instance as so many different factors come into play dependent on each individual’s situation. But always try to support and encourage a man rather than criticize or put him down. It could be possible that things may not work out because you choose to leave because it is an important criterion for you. But always treat a man with respect and honesty to get the best out of him.

The focus on materialism and not the character has led many women to heartbreak.
