How long were Amber Heard and Johnny Depp together

How long were Amber Heard and Johnny Depp together? Unless you’ve been living under a rock the last few months, you’ve probably had your fill of the names Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.

The court case between both celebrities played out in all of its Livestream infamies recently and ended with a decisive victory for team Depp.

In many ways, the disgraced star was redeemed in the public eye when a jury found Heard defamed him in an op-ed about being a survivor of “sexual violence” and “domestic abuse.”

As revealed in the trial, the facts behind their relationship and Heard’s allegations of abuse were far from black & white, showing that Depp himself was also a victim of domestic abuse at her hands.

Perhaps the most surprising development was the social media reaction, which was mainly in Depp’s favour.

This was a far cry from when Heard made the abuse allegations several years ago when many took her side.

In the end, Depp’s persona has rebounded, and many expect him to one day make a successful movie comeback, while Heard’s career is in tatters.

Her reputation isn’t going so well now, and many wonder whether or not she will ever work again, especially now that it’s been revealed that her Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom role has been dramatically reduced.

How long were Amber Heard and Johnny Depp together? Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were engaged in 2014. The news became public when a picture emerged of the actress wearing an ornate engagement ring.

She alleged that on May 21, an incident took place in which Depp threw his phone at her, leaving her with a bruised face.

Actor Johnny Depp won the defamation case against his wife Amber Heard on June 1. In a new interview since the verdict, Amber said that she ‘loves’ Johnny Depp with all her heart.

In the same interview, Amber also said that during their relationship she did some ‘horrible and humiliating things.

In the same interview she said, “To my dying day, I’ll stand by every word of my testimony. I made a lot of mistakes, but I’ve always told the truth.

His lawyer did a better job at distracting the jury from the real issues. This is the most humiliating and horrible thing I’ve ever been through.

“I did do and say horrible, regrettable things throughout my relationship. I behaved in horrible, almost unrecognizable to myself ways. I have so much regret.”

The trial, live-streamed to millions, featured intimate details about the celebrities’ private lives. Amber was especially targeted in social media posts and internet memes.

She countersued him for $100 million. Both the actors had alleged that the other person abused them throughout their short-lived marriage between 2015-2017.

Johnny had lost a previous case in the UK that he had filed against the tabloid The Sun for calling him a “wife-beater”. In that case, the judge had ruled there was sufficient evidence to back up the allegation.

Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard

Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard. Johnny C. Depp v. Amber Laura Heard was a civil defamation trial between two American actors that took place in Fairfax County, Virginia.

It lasted from 11 April to 1 June 2022. Johnny Depp, as plaintiff, alleged three counts of defamation against defendant Amber Heard with the claim for not less than $50 million in damages;

Heard filed counterclaims against Depp with a claim for not more than $100 million in damages.

Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard. After meeting in 2009, Depp and Heard were married in February 2015.

In May 2016, at an early stage in their divorce process, Heard claimed that Depp had abused her physically, which he denied.

In a separate libel trial, in which Depp sued News Group Newspapers Ltd over an article published in The Sun, the presiding judge ruled against Depp stating that “the great majority of alleged assaults of Ms. Heard by Mr. Depp have been proved to the civil standard.

Several legal experts suggested that Depp had a smaller chance of winning in the US trial compared to the UK trial.

In the Virginia trial, Depp’s claims related to a December 2018 op-ed by Heard, published in The Washington Post.

Heard’s statements in the op-ed included that she had spoken up against “sexual violence” and that “two years ago, [she] became a public figure representing domestic abuse” and Depp blamed the op-ed for new damage to his reputation and career.

Heard’s counterclaims included allegations that a lawyer of Depp’s had defamed her in statements published in the Daily Mail in 2020.

Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard. Throughout the trial, Depp’s legal team sought to disprove Heard’s abuse allegations and to demonstrate that she had been the instigator, rather than the victim, of intimate partner violence.

Heard’s lawyers defended the op-ed, claiming it was factual and protected by the First Amendment.

In the United States, news articles about the case generated high levels of social media interaction and renewed debates around topics relating to domestic violence, the #MeToo movement, and women’s rights.

The live-streamed trial attracted large numbers of viewers and a considerable social media response, the majority of which was sympathetic to Depp and critical of Heard.

The jury, composed of seven members, included one who later stated they “didn’t take into account anything outside”.

The jury unanimously ruled that Heard’s op-ed references to “sexual violence” and “domestic abuse” were false and defamed Depp with actual malice.

The jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages from Heard although the court reduced the punitive damages to $350,000 due to a limit imposed by Virginia state law.

Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard. The jury also unanimously ruled that Waldman (Depp’s lawyer) had defamed Heard by falsely alleging that she and her friends “roughed up” Depp’s penthouse as part of a “hoax”.

The jury awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages and zero in punitive damages from Depp.

Separately, the jury ruled that Waldman’s other allegations of Heard’s “sexual violence hoax” and “abuse hoax” against Depp had not been proven defamatory.

Opening statements were made on April 12, 2022. Lawyers representing Depp accused Heard of fabricating domestic abuse accusations about Depp to further her career.

Saying that Heard made the accusations because Depp had asked for a divorce. They argued that, while Heard’s 2018 op-ed did not mention Depp, it was clear by implication that it referred to him, and that Heard’s writing in that article

(“Then two years ago, I became a public figure representing domestic abuse”) was it a reference to her May 2016 restraining order request, in which she claimed that Depp had physically abused her?

Depp’s lawyers discussed Heard appearing in public with a bruised face on May 27, 2016, accusing her of staging the injury, citing that Depp had not met her since May 21, 2016, and witnesses did not see her with the injury immediately after May 21, 2016.

Heard’s lawyers claimed that Depp had physically and sexually abused Heard on multiple occasions during their relationship, usually triggered by his addiction to alcohol and drugs.

They accused Depp of seeking to “humiliate Amber, haunt her, wreck her career” with the Virginia lawsuit and to turn the case into a “soap opera”.

They further argued that the First Amendment protected Heard’s right to express her views in the op-ed, which was mostly focused on a broad discussion of domestic violence and did not explicitly mention Depp’s name.

Finally, Heard’s lawyers stated that the allegations had not changed Depp’s reputation, as they had become public knowledge two years before the op-ed, and that Depp had instead ruined his career in Hollywood himself with his drinking and drug use; this made him “unreliable” in the eyes of film studios.

According to E!, the couple got married on Depp’s 44-acre private island in the Bahamas.

The fun and love would be short-lived, however, as trouble reportedly started to hinder the couple’s relationship practically as soon as they tied the knot.

According to a report by Variety, Depp suffered a hand injury while filming Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in Australia. Depp reportedly received the injury during an argument with Heard.

How long were Amber Heard and Johnny Depp together? In March 2015, Depp reportedly got into an argument with Heard and proceeded to smash bottles, windows, and other items around the residence.

Depp reportedly sliced off a portion of one of his fingers during the incident. Instead of immediately seeking medical attention for his finger Depp allegedly stuck the stump in a can of paint.

And used it to write “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” on a mirror, referring to Depp’s accusations that Heard cheated on him with her London Fields co-star Billy Bob Thornton.

In May of that year, the couple faced legal trouble in Australia after local authorities learned that Depp and Heard illegally brought their Yorkshire Terriers to the country when they failed to subject the dogs to Australia’s 10-day quarantine.

The couple could have faced a sentence of up to 10 years in prison but were instead only required to issue an apology.

In April 2016, Depp and Heard released the infamous video where they awkwardly apologized for violating the country’s bio-security codes by not declaring the dogs.

Depp had previously been in relationships with Winona Ryder (from 1989 to 1993), Kate Moss (1994 to 1998), and Vanessa Paradis (1998 to 2012). Depp starred as Paul Kemp, a journalist who takes a job in Puerto Rico in “The Rum Diary” based on Hunter S. Thompson’s book of the same name. Thompson was Depp’s real-life friend and idol.

Heard played Chenault, a woman engaged to another man who Kemp is immediately smitten with as soon as he sees her.

After this, Depp and Heard were dating by early 2012 and in 2014, Heard was spotted wearing an engagement ring. People magazine reported that Depp and Heard were engaged after a picture emerged of the actress wearing an ornate engagement ring.

Depp himself seemed to confirm the engagement in a video interview with The Daily Mail, after discussing wedding planning and pointing out that he was wearing “a chick’s ring” on his finger.”It’s probably a dead giveaway, isn’t it? Not very subtle,” Depp said

How long were Amber Heard and Johnny Depp Dating before they got married?  In 2015, Depp and Heard married in a very private ceremony in their home in LA, with People reporting photos. So we can say they dated for about 3 to 4 years.

After Johnny Depp lost his high-profile libel case against the publishers of The Sun newspaper over a 2018 article that described him as a “wife-beater,” the actor announced that he has been “asked to resign” from the upcoming “Fantastic Beasts 3.”

Danish actor Mads Mikkelson was officially named as Depp’s replacement in November after weeks of speculation over who would take on the role.

Depp has vehemently denied the claims of abuse but was once again denied permission to appeal the court’s ruling in March 2021.

Court of Appeal judges said the original hearing “was full and fair” and that the trial judge “gave thorough reasons for his conclusions which have not been shown even arguably to be vitiated by any error of approach or mistake of law.”

Hollywood actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are waiting for the verdict in a $50 million defamation case, some seven years after embarking on a marriage that quickly fell apart amid claims by Heard of domestic abuse.

Depp brought the lawsuit against Heard over an op-ed she wrote in the Washington Post in 2018, in which she didn’t mention her former husband by name, but described herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse”. Heard, best known for her role in the 2018 superhero film Aquaman, is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.

The Johnny Depp–Amber Heard case started as a defamation trial, but by the end of the live-streamed spectacle, it became a cultural flashpoint an ugly referendum on post-MeToo gender relations.

Even if you didn’t watch a minute of it, the ambient stink was almost impossible to avoid as memes, hashtags, and videos bombarded social media feeds.

Many of them were so gleefully tilted toward Depp that the question of whether they were part of an organized campaign came under discussion during the trial.

During the trial, Depp accused ex-wife Heard of having damaged his career with a Washington Post op-ed she wrote in support of the Violence Against Women Act.

She did not refer to the actor by name in the piece but described herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse” whose own career had suffered after she’d named a powerful actor as her abuser.

Depp testified that Disney dropped him from Pirates 6 shortly after the op-ed was published, though Heard’s lawyer noted that a Daily Mail article had reported Depp was out of the picture two months earlier.

“Two years had gone by of constant worldwide talk about me being this wife beater,” Depp said in court, referring to Heard’s initial restraining order against him in 2016.

“So I’m sure that Disney was trying to cut ties to be safe. The #MeToo movement was in full swing at that point.” His talent agent, Jack Whigham, testified that it was impossible to secure him a studio film after the op-ed, describing it as “a death knell, catastrophic thing for Mr. Depp in the Hollywood community.”

In 2020, Depp dropped out of the Fantastic Beasts franchise at the request of Warner Bros. (though he still received his full salary for the upcoming third film) after losing a U.K. libel case against The Sun, which had called him a “wife-beater.”

Depp married his first wife, makeup artist Lori Anne Allison, in 1983 at just 20 years old. Allison, who is six years his senior, met the future star through her brother, who played in a band called Kids with Depp, according to Rolling Stone.

Many credit Allison for jumpstarting Depp’s career, as she introduced the budding star to Nicolas Cage, who in turn introduced him to his agent, who took on Depp and secured him an audition for “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” his first on-screen role in 1984.

The pair split in 1985, but remain on good terms, with Allison telling TMZ in 2016 that Depp is a “soft person” who never hit or yelled at her, despite accusations from Heard.

How many times did Johnny Depp get married? Here are other women Johnny Depp had Relationships with

  • Sherilyn Fenn

Depp met his next partner, actress Sherilyn Fenn while shooting a 1985 short film called “Dummies.”

The couple went on to date for three years, collaborating again in 1987 on an episode of “21 Jump Street.” According to Brides.com, they were even engaged.

While the pair split the following year, like Allison, Fenn has had nothing but great things to say about her ex in the years since.

He was very sweet. He was my first love,” she told The Big Issue in 2017. “I had found real love.

It was with someone who was walking the same path, but even if he wasn’t, the love and the connection were strong enough – cooking meals, hanging out, laughing, and crying.

So it is more about that than the fact he is this well-known person now. I know him as a human, not as a movie star.”

  • Jennifer Grey

“Dirty Dancing” actress Jennifer Grey began dating Johnny Depp in 1989, with Grey claiming in her 2022 memoir, “Out of the Corner,” that he proposed to her within two weeks of the meeting through her agent at the time.

During a May 2022 visit to “The Drew Barrymore Show,” Grey also revealed that she was engaged to the actor as well as Matthew Broderick within the same month.

While she described Depp as “ridiculously beautiful” and “surprisingly open, funny, quirky and sweet” on their first date, she added that he later developed anger and jealousy issues, leading her to call off the engagement after only nine months together.

  • Winona Ryder

Depp fell for his next love, Winona Ryder, after spotting her at the premiere of Ryder’s 1989 film “Great Balls of Fire.”

“It was a classic glance, like the zoom lenses in ‘West Side Story,’ and everything else gets foggy. I knew then,” Depp told Rolling Stone in 1991.

They would eventually meet months later through a mutual friend and go on to co-star in the 1990 film, “Edward Scissorhands.”

During their high-profile courtship, Depp got his now famous “Winona Forever” tattoo on his bicep.

They dated briefly in the public eye before things fizzled, only to start up a non-exclusive relationship in 1998 while filming “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” together.

According to Depp, Barkin still holds a “grudge” because he never wanted to make things official between them, as she testified against him in his UK trial, claiming he once threw a wine bottle at her.

“A sexual element began with Ms. Barkin which lasted for months on and off really because she was making the film I was making at the time,” Depp said, adding that “she wanted a proper relationship with me and I did not want that.”

  • Kate Moss

Depp and model Kate Moss began dating in late 1994 after meeting through Vanity Fair celebrity writer George Wayne.

The pairing would turn out to be a tumultuous one, as Depp was arrested that year for causing almost $10,000 worth of damage to a hotel room, with Moss found sitting amid the wreckage by police.

Despite the intense evening, the couple lasted until 1998. Moss has since shared how tough the split was for her, saying it led to “years of crying” over the “City of Lies” actor.

  • Vanessa Paradis

Depp began dating his next long-term love, Vanessa Paradis, in 1998 following his split from Moss and brief romance with Barkin.

French singer Paradis met Depp while he shot Roman Polanski’s film “The Ninth Gate” in Paris and went on to date for 14 years.

The couple welcomed daughter Lily-Rose in 1999 and son Jack in 2002.

The couple called it quits in 2012, with Depp telling Rolling Stone of their breakup, “It wasn’t easy on [Paradis]. It wasn’t easy on me. It wasn’t easy on the kids.

” It doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids, and you’ll always know each other, and you’re always gonna be in each other’s lives because of those kids.”

Who was Johnny Depp married to for 25 years? In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2013, Depp revealed why he and Paradis never married and what his idea of true love is.

“I never found myself needing that piece of paper. Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don’t need somebody to say, okay you’re married,” he said.

“Relationships are very difficult. Especially in the racket that I’m in because you’re constantly away or they’re away and so it’s hard. It wasn’t easy on her. It wasn’t easy on me. It wasn’t easy on the kids.”

He continued, “So, yeah. The trajectory of that relationship plays out until it goes, one thing leads to another.

So for whatever reason that ceases, it doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids, and you’ll always know each other, and you’re always gonna be in each other’s lives because of those kids. You might as well make the best of it.”

Throughout his three decades in Hollywood, Depp has had several public relationships. On the set of Roman Polanski’s neo-noir film The Ninth Gate, Depp met Vanessa Paradis, a French actress, model, and singer, with whom he was romantically involved from 1998 to 2012.

The long stints Depp spent on film sets were the most important factor in the separation of the famous actor and Paradis, who even years ago spoke about it.

“Relationships are very difficult. Especially in the racket that I’m in because you’re constantly away or they’re away and so it’s hard,” Paradis told Rolling Stone.

“Sometimes you could be in an unhappy relationship; you are very much in love with someone, but it’s making you unhappy and you think things can change and you can work it out,” she added.

Who was Johnny Depp married to for 25 years? Vanessa Paradis spoke about how Johnny Depp is on a personal level just as Heard accused the actor of domestic abuse, describing him as “a kind, attentive, generous, and non-violent person and father.”

“On movie sets the actors, directors and entire crew adore him because he is humble and respectful to everyone, as well as being one of the best actors we’ve seen,” Paradis said.

Amber Heard Elon Musk. Heard and Musk started dating in July 2016 after they were first seen together at the Delano South Beach in Miami, Florida.

The two starred together in the 2013 movie, Machete Kills, in which Heard played “Miss San Antonio” Bianca Vasquez, and Musk made a cameo as himself.

How long were Amber Heard and Johnny Depp together? Heard had been married to Johnny Depp for two years at the time. Musk was single, having divorced Tallulah Riley, a British actress, in 2012. In 2013, they reunited and married for the second time.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk and actress Talulah Riley divorced in 2016. In the same year, Heard filed for divorce from Depp, and their marriage was legally dissolved at the start of 2017.

Musk and Heard began dating around the same time they married in 2015, according to Depp, who claimed in a complaint that his then-wife had an affair with the entrepreneur “no later than one month after” they married.

However, Musk’s spokesperson insisted: “Elon and Amber didn’t start seeing each other until May 2016, and even then it was infrequent. Their relationship didn’t become romantic until some time later.”

According to reports, the couple parted ways in August 2017. Amber Heard took to Instagram to share her side of the break-up, writing:

“Being in the public eye means having to explain yourself to so many people, so much of the time. In this case, I’d like to remain quieter.

Although we have broken up, Elon and I care deeply for one another and remain close. Thank you for the continued support, respect, and privacy during these difficult, very human times.”

The Tesla CEO said in the comments section: “Just to clear up some of the press storms this weekend.

Although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close, and love one another.

Long-distance relationships when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds.”

As the year concluded, the couple vacationed together in Chile and Easter Island, rekindling their romance.

They were spotted walking arm-in-arm again in Los Angeles in January 2018, enjoying romantic dinners.

However, in February 2018, the couple’s romance came to an end once more, this time for good. “The timing just wasn’t right, but they still care about each other,” they said.

“Elon is attracted to her edginess. She isn’t frightened about being different,” a source told People magazine in 2016.

She doesn’t get easily intimidated. She is very focused and loves to learn.” The two split for the first time in August 2017 before reuniting five months later and breaking up for a second and final time in February 2018.

Amber Heard Elon Musk Heard and Musk’s relationship came after her divorce from Depp in 2016 after 15 months of marriage.

After she filed for divorce, Heard obtained a temporary restraining order against Depp, claiming that he abused her while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Depp denied the accusations and a $7 million settlement was reached out of court in August 2016. Heard pledged to donate the money to the ACLU and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain.

There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm,” the two said in a joint statement at the time.

In 2018, Heard wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post about her experience with domestic abuse.

While she didn’t mention Depp by name, many believed that the post was about her ex-husband.

Depp sued Heard for $50 million for defamation in 2019, claiming that the op-ed cost him acting jobs, including his role in Walt Disney Pictures’ Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The trial for the case started in 2022.

Amber Heard Elon Musk Amber Heard will have to sell an expensive gift that she once received from Elon Musk to pay Johnny Depp after she lost their defamation trial.

Heard used to be in a relationship with the founder of Tesla and SpaceX and that meant that she has been on the receiving end of many gifts from the South African billionaire.

One of these gifts was a Tesla Model X car. The electric vehicle can go 628 km on a single charge and it boasts 1,200 horsepower.

Despite being quite a big car, it can do 0 to 100km/h in 2.1 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.

There has been controversy in the past as to whether she brought the car herself given she is an actress who can afford such things, or if it was indeed a gift from Musk.

Given it is the fully equipped version of the car, it is worth around 130,000 US dollars.

The judge in the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Heard ruled that a 2018 Washington Post editorial that Heard penned did defame the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

The jurors’ unanimous decision capped a seven-week trial in a Virginia courtroom that featured dozens of witnesses and experts weighing in on whether Depp was abusive to Heard – or vice versa – during their 15-month marriage.

Depp was awarded 15 million dollars but that was later reduced to 10.35 million dollars because of a limit to punitive damages under state law.

Heard won on one count of her countersuit, in which she demanded $100m and argued she was defamed by a Depp press agent who called her allegations “an abuse hoax” aimed at capitalising on the Me Too movement. She was awarded $2m.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s daughter. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard do not have a child together.

On 1 July 2021, Amber took her fans by surprise with an adorable snap of her cradling her newborn.

She wrote: “I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child.

I wanted to do it on my terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.

“I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring to have a crib.

A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.

My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”

The actress also revealed online that she is the “mom and the dad” of her daughter after she was welcomed into the world via a surrogate. She penned:

“I’m just the mom and the dad. She’s the boss.” It is believed that Amber was biologically unable to conceive.

Amber was believed to be dating Tesla founder Elon Musk and Johnny Depp; there were also claims that she had relations with the actor James Franco.

But while these celebrity names are thrown around fan circles, it has never been revealed who the baby’s father is, and because Amber maintains she did it on her “own terms” the surrogate situation could have been using a sperm donor, rather than someone known to Amber.

Amber’s daughter’s middle name has significant meaning because she is named after the actress’ late mother.

In May 2020, Amber announced that her beloved mom had passed away. “I am heartbroken and devastated beyond belief at the loss of my mom, Paige Heard,” the Instagram post began.

She added: “I feel truly lucky to have been her daughter and been given the gift of having the light she shone on everyone, fall on me for nearly 34 years.”

During her testimony at the defamation trial with Johnny Depp, Heard said she wanted to move on in life because she is a mother.

It was one of the few times she has publicly spoken about her daughter, Oonagh Paige. The actress’ statement led to renewed interest in her family.

There has been much speculation about who the father of Heard’s child could be. Hello! magazine reported Oonagh was born via surrogate and Heard has publicly said she plays dual parental roles.

British media reported that Heard was told she was not able to conceive and opted to have a baby via surrogate.

She’s had romantic links to Elon Musk, James Franco, model Cara Delevingne, and cinematographer Bianca Butti. But the identity of the father has remained a tightly kept secret.

Hello! magazine reported that, because Heard said she had her baby on her “own terms”, there is speculation that she may have used a sperm donor.

British media additionally reported that Heard is Oonagh’s sole legal parent, but there has been speculation that Musk is secretly the father of the child and willingly acted as a sperm donor, but this has never been confirmed.

People reported that Oonagh’s second name, Paige, is in memory of Heard’s mother who died two years ago.

In May 2020, Heard confirmed that her mum had passed away in a touching social media post.

She said she was close with her mum, Paige Heard, who shone her light on everyone she met.

British media reported the birth of Oonagh was particularly special, as Heard had lost her mother the year before. A friend was quoted saying Heard was “beyond in love” with Oonagh.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s daughter. Johnny Depp and Amber have never had kids together. Amber Heard has managed to name her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard with a name that is deeply connected to her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

While it is common knowledge that Depp chose the names for his two children Jack and Lily-Rose Depp through one of his movies, Heard might have also gone the same route, despite having no public ties to the Pirates actor.

This connection has been made by a social media user and according to YourTango, Oonagh’s name is connected to the 1985 Tom Cruise film Legend, in the same way as Lily and Jack.

The two main characters of the film are Jack and Lily but there is also another, named Oonagh.

The social media user pointed out, “There is another character, a fairy, that falls in love with Jack, can you guess what her name is?? Oonagh.”

Before concluding, the user also slipped in a dig at the star and admitted, “Please tell me the chances of this because since learning this I am in awe at the level of obsession in this woman.”

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s daughter. Amber Heard said she looks forward to being a mom to 14-month-old daughter Oonagh Paige “full time” now that the trial is over

Amber Heard hopes everything she went through will “mean something” to her daughter one day.

The Aquaman actress, 36, plans to appeal the verdict in the defamation trial brought against her by ex-husband Johnny Depp.

A seven-person jury sided mostly with Depp, 59, and awarded him more than $10 million in damages, deciding that Heard defamed him in a 2018 op-ed about becoming a “public figure representing domestic abuse,” though she did not mention Depp by name.

Additionally, they awarded Heard $2 million in damages on one of her three defamation countersuit claims.
